![]() ![]() It is your right as a client to request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service with any healthcare provider. All clients will receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day prior to your scheduled service if you are paying out of pocket. The No Surprises Act requires providers to send a Good Faith Estimate to all self-pay clients regarding their projected cost for services. The intention of this act is to prevent clients from receiving unexpected medical bills for services previously provided. The No Surprises Act is a federal law that was passed in December 2021 with an effective date of January 1, 2022. The following forms of payments are accepted Cash, Money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Most Health Savings Accounts. The client's insurance is billed as a courtesy and if they do not pay for services, the client is responsible for the full payment. You are responsible for your copayment at the start of each session and any applicable costs such as deductibles. If a client is using insurance, After the Storm Counseling will submit the claims for you. It is the client's responsibility to verify the specifics of their coverage. Please be aware that not all issues/problems/conditions that are addressed in therapy are covered by insurance. *Student Rate and Therapist without Mental Health coverage rate for assessment $130 and $90 per session All Sessions last 45-60 minutes in length unless otherwise indicated Clients that carry insurance should be aware that professional services are rendered and charged to the client and not to the insurance company.
